Alan, the new owner of Sanyasin emailed me regarding ideas for mounting a wind generator on a Tiki 46. Typically you see them mounted aft either on a pole or mounted on a mizzen or yawl mast. I like the idea of mounting one high up of the aft mast. Pros being a higher mount which will translate into cleaner and higher wind speeds along with a quieter location with much less vibration noted below decks. The downside is a lot of weight aloft, heavier and longer wiring, not to mention being harder to work on....
Here are a few pictures for ideas. I'll be posting more as I find them but if you have pictures of interesting wind generator installations post them here!
